The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio Absolute Q Digital PCR System is a plate-based digital PCR (dPCR) platform based on the company’s proprietary Microfluidic Array Plate (MAP) technology. With this technology, all the necessary steps for dPCR – partitioning, thermal cycle and data acquisition – can be performed on a single device. The dPCR workflow is identical to the familiar qPCR workflow. This increases usability, reduces the number of steps and maximizes consistency.
